A new relationship

I met Toni yesterday at a networking meeting. She was energetic, bubbly, friendly, self confident and genuinely nice. She has a helping spirit you could feel it regardless of where she stood in the room.

She had her mentee there with her-- a young lady who said she was "just a sophomore" in college. I quickly asked her to drop the "just" and she smiled and agreed to do just that.

After hearing Toni's story, I had to let her know she almost moved me to tears.
