The Hot Chicks and Attentive Dudes book signing at GenuWine Tasting Room in Magnolia, Texas was a huge success. Rhonda and Barb (the owners) really roll out the red carpet for their guest. Duane provide the music -- music from the 80s. Everyone was signing along and dancing. There were small groups and couples just enjoying themselves. In addition to selling books, I had a wonderful time chatting with everyone. Rhonda and Barb know how to treat company! That's why I am going back. |

Hello everyone, I read this article (Beware of the Nigerian Dating Scam) and HAD to post it on my blog for more of you to see. Be informed! When I find articles of interest, I will share and ask that you do the same. We may not be able to stop scams but we can put up warning signs. Have a wonderful week. Carolyn

I read a GREAT article -- it sounds like a recording of what I often say-- so I thought I would share. The article quotes one of my favorite authors: John Gottman. Anything you read by Dr. Gottman, will help you work toward making your relationship better. Now, for the link to the article: To your WOW relationship, Carolyn

After months and months of trying to get WOO to WOW: 5 Stages of a Relationship (WOO,WHAM, WHOA, WHEE, WOW) published, I have books in my possession. That's the good part. Another good part: my Pastor, Pastor Sally Davis announced in church that I had the book and it would be placed in the Church's Resource Center. The not so good part: I only had one copy of the book with me and you guessed it... several people wanted to purchase a copy. |

I had the honor of attending the book signing of Justina Page where she launched her book, The Circle of Fire. I have a signed copy and will start reading it tomorrow. Justina shared her story at a workshop I attended a few months ago. She is so inspiring. Click on the link below to her website to order her book. All proceeds from the sales of her book goes to The Amos House of Faith, Houston, Texas. |
